SOUND DAMPENING INSULATION
Posted by admin on Feb 23, 2010
We call it soundproofing, or sound batts or sound insulation…..no matter what it’s called it accomplishes the same results, making your home quiet inside. Running showers, tumbling dryers, flushing toilets, teenage girls on the cellphone at all hours of the day, a son playing the drums, wash machine, hair dryers, bath fans, televisions, vaccum cleaners etc. These are examples of things you may not want to hear inside your house or hear as little as possible from room to room. When you have company over do you have to warn your kids to stay in their rooms and keep the noise down? Do you work the graveyard shift and prefer a home that is as quiet as possible to be able to get some sleep? We have a product put on many of your interior walls to deaden the noise. It is basically insulation, but thicker and made to offer less insulation qualities and more sound dampening qualities, it only goes on interior walls. When you build with us, expect to see it. Here’s some photos of wall between a bathroom and bedroom that we soundproofed, another between a bedroom and loft area.
