Heating Options

On occasion we have customers that want to spend a few more bucks when it comes to heating a basement. This technique is called ‘in floor heating’. Plastic tubing is used and installed prior to the basement floor being poured. We also install foam insulation under the plastic tubing to keep the ground under the floor from dissipating the heat from the plastic tubes. Usually the loops of tubing is segregated into separate zones so that different rooms be heat controlled differently. Here are some photos of ‘In Floor Heating’ in the basement of a log home we have under construction.
